Aquí, en la tierra de mis ancestros.
The Land IS the Lesson.
We're calling in support to purchase a sacred property in Borikén
where our community can heal, remember, and come home—together.
There’s a reason my spirit is being pulled so hard toward Borikén, Puerto Rico right now. And it’s not just personal—it’s political, spiritual, and ancestral.
At a time when wealthy investors are rapidly displacing Puerto Rican families and desecrating land for profit, I feel the call to protect what is still sacred. To act not out of fear, but out of fidelity—to my people, to the land, and to a future rooted in care.
My Reflection Matters Village was born in the belly of a global crisis. As the pandemic reshaped how we connect, our virtual village became a lifeline for families seeking liberation from oppressive norms. Since then, our “community in the sky” has grown stronger, grounded in healing, ancestral wisdom, and self-directed, consent-based education.
Now, the call is clear: it’s time to bring that vision en la tierra. To return, to root, to steward. To call in donations to help us move from sky to soil. From virtual to visceral. It’s time to bring this healing work home. This land in Borikén—where we’ve already hosted two healing retreats—is ready for us. And we are ready for her. My focus is to secure the fundings to take the first big step. Read on to learn more.
The seller of this incredible place is open to giving me the space to raise these funds by the end of July 2025.
One of the first projects I want to dive into on this beautiful land is working with local farmers and curanderas to begin designing and cultivating a small finca and herbal garden that will produce both food and medicinal plants. Remembering that the land is the lesson, our finca will not only produce farm-table nourishment for our members and local community, but also serve as an outdoor classroom where attendees will gain the skill and confidence in maintaining local Afro-Taino traditions of communing and being in relationship with the land, both physically and spiritually. A sacred element of our space—la finca or jardin—will need to be named once it is built. A monetary gift of $1.5 million dollars allows us to pay Hacienda Casa Campo in full and begin bringing our magical finca to life. In honor of your generous giving, our finca will be named in honor of you (or in the name of someone else of your choosing). You and your immediate close of kin will be invited to a special ceremony honoring the land, those who cultivated it, and you when la finca is officially open for learning and growing.

Healing
The trees on this land carry stories of survival.
Like the sacred Tabonuco, which survived Hurricane Maria by reaching underground to its kin, sharing nutrients and life force with those in need.
This is the kind of network we're building.
And this land is our mycelial hub.

We’re Raising $600,000
to Ground This Vision
Your donations help us acquire the land, support transition for the current stewards, and prepare it to host year-round programming and healing gatherings.
We’re not just purchasing land.
We’re planting a future—rooted in memory, mutual care, and radical joy.
Our Community Says:
After funding, we'll invite Resource Weavers and Members to invest.
After we secure the deposit and operational funding for the space, here’s what we’re imagining for investors whose vision and values align with our ways of weaving wellness into our community gatherings. We will also be sharing details about the membership option to support folks who can use this space to host their wellness and healing events at set times each year at affordable pricing and with local support.

The folks and I who are gathering to see this through are imagining Resource Weavers (investors) and Member Weavers (event hosts) as core elements of this place I will steward with so many others.
Once we raise the $600K to secure the space and invest in the people, our next step will be to invite Weavers to join us not only in funding this vision—but in living it.
As a Resource Weaver, your contribution helps us root this work en la tierra. Member Weavers will be able to leverage the use of a well-cared for sacred place to do their sacred work with people who trust and value your work. We will host our first on-land gathering: an intimate, invitation-only retreat for those helping to shape this next chapter as Resource and Member Weavers.
This isn’t just a thank-you. It’s a relationship. A co-creation. A chance to be in ceremony, on sacred ground, with the people and place you’ve invested in.

This Land Isn’t a Symbol.
It’s a Portal.
For our ancestors. For our children. For ourselves.
This is a chance to root something lasting. Something whole. We are listening to the land
—and inviting you to listen with us.
